PBS Deaf movie

Hello I am new to this tribe... My son is Deaf and we sign at home.. Did u see the documentary on PBS last wednesday? "Through Deaf Eyes?" 200 years years of American Deaf history in 2 hours wirh a lot of original fimls from Deaf artits... was great!!! you can buy it at PBS shop

      i enjoyed it very much and i think and hope it helped the hearing community to understand Deaf people better... I was not too crazy about the part of oral deaf and implanted people though..IMO and by deirect experience oral Deaf people are seen as successful and btter integrated whereas Signing Deaf who do not speak by choice or by impossibility or who say that lip readingf is not their pick, are still ostracised by hearings and that was not really mentionned.
